 The FCAT and SATs are finally here and we would like to congratulate all of our students in grades 1-5 for their focused preparation.  We have taught our students that “What the mind conceives and the heart believes, THEY WILL ACHIEVE!”  We are extremely proud of each of them and their efforts towards a successful  “Journey to the Stars”.  The staff at Irving and Beatrice Peskoe Elementary School is dedicated to academic achievement and success for all students. Don’t forget to thank our teachers for their continued dedication and commitment in making sure every student makes adequate learning gains.

Regular school attendance is an integral part of that success. The amount of time actually spent in class is a good measure of student access to an education. Each tardy or absence means a student has lost an opportunity to learn. Please help us to provide your child with the outstanding education she or he deserves by making sure your child attends school every day.

 Please remember that throughout the testing window, your child must be in bed early, get a good night’s rest and eat a good breakfast.  In addition, our students need to be in school every day!  Absent students will still be expected to take the test upon their return and might feel uncomfortable in an unfamiliar environment during make-up days. Refer to the chart below for testing dates.
